Rockaway at Aldersgate is a rug hooking camp located in Central Oregon with classes taught by world-renowned teachers.   Whether you have never pulled a loop, or are a seasoned veteran, you are guaranteed to learn something new and find encouragement and inspiration at Rockaway at Aldersgate.  Best of all, we know you will renew old friendships and welcome new friends in this special community of hookers.

This retreat is for you if:

  *you are beginner.
  *you are looking to learn something new.
  *you want to finish an old project.
  *you want to start a new project.
  *you want to get together with other rug hookers.

Retreat begins with Registration at 4pm pst Sunday, April 23, and ends after breakfast on Friday, April 28, 2023.   

Rockaway at Aldersgate is pleased to offer:

  • An evening mini class, Prodded Geraniums, by Lynne Howard
  • A 2-night mini class, ​​Wooly Wreaths, by Katie Knoelke and Cynthia Hubacher
  • ​Garage sale (attendees are encouraged to bring craft/hooking items to sell)
  • Retreat Store 
  • ​Off the Cuff Hand-dyed Wool by Lois Summers
  • A Beginner's Class
                        
Our camp offers a beautiful location in Northern Oregon, the camaraderie of like-minded craft people, plus good food, and choice of accommodations, including full hook-up RV spaces.  Aldersgate campus is spacious with walking trails and beautiful grounds.  Aldersgate is one hour from Portland International Airport for those that are coming by air.
